ATTOCK : Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that Punjab govt has given billion of rupees subsidy to ensure provision of flour, sugar, pulses and other items at subsidised rates during Ramzan ul Mubarik.
He said this during his visit to Ramzan Sasta Bazar Attock on Sunday . He was accompanied by DCO Attock Rana Akbar Hayat, AC Syed Nazarat Ali, TMO Sardar Aftab Khan, SVP PML-N Saleem Shehzad, Tehsil President PML-N Ghulam Samdani, Sheikh Ajmal and Sheikh Nasir.
Federal Minister said that across the Punjab Ramzan Sasta Bazars have been set up where all type of edibles are available at subsidised and controlled rates.
He visited all the stalls of the bazar and lauded the efforts of District and Tehsil Administration for arranging this bazar where edibles of good quality are available at controlled prices.
He emphasized that this standard be maintained till the last day of this holy month and said that the complaints of those visiting this bazar be redressed instantly.
Earlier, the minister was briefed about the Ramzan Sasta Bazars and Ramzan Dastarkhwans established across the Attock district benefitting thousands of people.
