Shamzai's killers arrest: Sindh government to be provided all assistance, says minister

Interior Minister Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat said on Sunday that the federal government will provide all kinds of assistance to Sindh government for the arrest of killers of renowned religious scholar Mufti Nizamuddin Shamzai.
Talking to PTV, the minister said "Sindh police will be provided every kind of assistance, if it is required from the federal departments or any provincial government."
He said federal law enforcement agencies and Rangers have been issued directives to extend full co-operation to Sindh administration.
The Sindh government also issued instructions for utilising all kinds of means for arrest of culprits of the incident and exposed the network behind it, he added.
He strongly condemned the incident in which Mufti Nizamuddin was killed by unknown armed assailants near Binori Town. He also termed the incident as tragic and sorrowful.
People who want to promote terrorism and create disturbance in the country are behind the tragic incident, he added.
He paid tributes to services extended by Mufti Nizamuddin and said he was a reputable and pious person.
The minister said Mufti Nizamuddin had thousands of followers throughout the country and they were shocked on this tragic incident.
