The PPP had already warned against the consequences of releasing the criminals and terrorists, but the rulers did not pay any heed to it as they only wanted to safeguard their interests, he said, alleging that the worsening situation of Karachi was also part of the game the rulers were playing.
Nisar Khuhro recalled the bomb blasts outside Pak-American Cultural Centre and later rumours of another blast at Binori Town and said despite such reports the provincial government and its inefficient police officials did not take any precautionary measures. This shows that the government has left the citizens of Karachi at the mercy of terrorists, he said.
