Three constables were injured by the firing of drug peddlers at Darbar 'Choop Gain' river bank, Shafiqabad area in the wee hours of Sunday.
A police party conducted a raid at the hideout of the drug-pushers in Shafiqabad area here.
Seeing the police, the criminals opened fire at the raiding team. As a result three constables Draz, Abdul Rehman and Liaqat Ali received bullet injuries and were rushed to Mayo hospital.
