PIA punctuality graph goes up

The Pakistan International Airlines has claimed that its overall system punctuality graph is climbing back to old days, and last month's figures touched 89 percent, highest since 1988.
The return was reflected by the punctuality statistics for March this year which recorded 88 percent and that, too, was surpassed by figures of May when it inched further up by one percent.
An official announcement said here that the national carrier had attained punctuality rate of 91.3 percent in its domestic and 84.1 percent in its international operations during March against the lowest it had recorded during the same month two years ago, when it was 84 percent in domestic and 64.8 percent in international operations.
The improvement has been gained due to on-time departures and arrivals in the domestic and international operations.
Chairman of the Corporation, Ahmed Saeed, was reported to have expressed his dedication to further improvement in this field in the coming months.
