The Bangladeshi taka closed slightly weaker on Wednesday after importers sought US dollars to import machinery and industrial raw materials, dealers said.
The taka was quoted at 59.17/61.80 against the dollar, from 59.16/61.95 on Tuesday.
Call rates ranged between 3.25 and 6.0 percent against 3.0-6.5 percent on Tuesday.
