Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Friday has sought a report from the police over the alleged killing of a person in police custody.
The Prime Minister took serious note of an appeal by the widow of the deceased Nazakat Hussain who according to police report committed suicide in the police prison.
The widow has blamed the police for excesses and said that her husband died due to police torture.
She also demanded exhuming the body for post-mortem.
The Prime Minister has taken a strict view of the incident and sought immediate report to find out the facts.
