West has launched a ruthless campaign against Islam and Muslims by declaring Islamic revolutionary movements as terrorist movements, Tanzeem-e-Islami Pakistan Chief and a renowned Islamic scholar Dr Israr Ahmed said here on Friday.
Delivering a lecture on the topic of "Apostle of revolution and ways of revolution" at Hamdard Hall, Dr Israr said that the present situation was point of concern for the Muslim world and they must realise the ground realities and come on the right path shown by the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He stressed the need of the present political system in Pakistan and said that election politics would never help in changing the system.
"It is only the path of Islamic revolution, which would help us in changing the system and bring the present miseries and agonies of the Muslim world to an end," he said.
"The Muslim Ummah needs a revolution by following the footsteps of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)," he said, adding that once we hold a true Islamic revolution and install pure Islamic system in Pakistan, the US and his allies would never harm us.
It is necessary for the protection of the sovereignty, integrity and independence of Pakistan to make Shariah supreme law of the country, he said, adding that this would keep all evils away from Pakistan.
Pakistan, he said, was attained on the name of Islam and it is the responsibility of every Pakistani to hold revolution for Islamic system of governance in the country. "Until we make this true we would not come out of the ugly jaws of America and its allies," he added.
Terming the Islamic system as only system to govern the world with peace, he said that the revolution of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was one and only revolution which had respect for the humanity. Independence, equality and social justice were the primary and golden principles of the Islamic revolution of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and once we follow these footsteps we would attain the heights and attain the lost glory, he said.
