China will operate a new flight on Kashgar-Islamabad route from Tuesday.

China will operate a new flight on Kashgar-Islamabad route from Tuesday.
The flight is being introduced on weekly basis by the Xinjiang Airlines. It will help to boost trade and people-to-people contacts between the two countries, said official sources.
The Xinjiang Airlines is already operating its weekly flight between Urumqi and Islamabad.
Meanwhile, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has also decided to operate its additional flight to Shanghai via Urumqi to cater the growing traffic on this route.
The PIA's sources told APP in Beijing that the flight will start within next couple of months. A senior official has already been appointed to run the Shanghai station and to make other necessary arrangements, the sources added.
Currently, the Airline is operating two flights in a week on Islamabad-Beijing-Tokyo route. Pakistan and China have recently signed an agreement to expand air services between the two countries.
Under the agreement, PIA would be entitled to increase the maximum passenger and cargo flights to China, to fourteen per week from the present four per week, the approved limit.
The PIA has been granted permission to operate flights to Shanghai in addition to the already approved designations of Beijing and Urumqi.
Similarly, the Chinese Airline would be able to fly to Lahore in addition to Islamabad and Karachi.
It was also decided that both the airlines would be entitled to book passengers on each other's flights on a reciprocal basis.
Under the agreement, PIA would also able to operate to Los Angeles in the West Coast of United States through China, in addition to already available route for Japan.
KIDS FESTIVAL: China will hold "Children Get-to-Gather festival" in first week of August to promote the wellbeing of the children all over the world.
The festival is being arranged at the Huaguo Mountain located in China's seaside city Lianyung Harbour.
The interested groups of children have been asked to contact the liaison officer, Irene Liang, at fax number 0086-10-85967907 for registration.
