Trading on commodities wholesale markets maintained sluggish outlook due to uncertain conditions and death of an important business, during the week ended on June 5, 2004. The commodities fluctuated were plastic mouldings, teas, kirana items and chemicals.
PLASTIC MOULDINGS: had variations under head HDPE film Saudi 952 up 25 paisa to Rs 35.50, Mobil up same amount to Rs 35.50, HDPE injection Sabic 200056 gained Rs 1.44 to Rs 36.75, Mobil 016 up quoted at Rs 36.50, and Thai up 75 paisa to Rs 36.
HDPE blow Kuwait up 25 paisa to Rs 35.50, and Iran up 25 paisa to Rs 35, LLDPE W118 up 75 paisa to Rs 36, 7087 up same amount to Rs 36, polystyrene film Kuwait up 50 paisa to Rs 36, India up 50 paisa to Rs 35.50 ABS polylac 707 up Rs 35 to Rs 2100, and Khumo up Rs 20 to Rs 2080.
Teas from Kenya PF-1 A grade down Rs 5 to Rs 178, B grade up Rs 4 to Rs 156, and plus C down Re 1 to Rs 150, BP-1 A grade down Rs 11 to Rs 209, B grade down Rs 5 to Rs 210, plus C grade down Rs 2 to Rs 180, C grade down Rs 2 to Rs 175, and Bangladesh's Khushbu down Rs 2 to Rs 90.
Yellow peas lost Rs 40 to Rs 1510, and better shed same amount to Rs 1540, gram new down sharply quoted at Rs 1630 and Rs 1670, gram dal down Rs 25 to Rs 1850, better down Rs 40 to Rs 1880, and bajra up by Rs 50 to Rs 1750, and better quoted at Rs 1250, sugar inferior up Rs 20 to Rs 1760, and better up by Rs 25 to Rs 1790.
Irri white broken lost Rs 60 to Rs 940, and better quoted down at Rs 950, wheat Pakistan quoted after several days at Rs 1050, Makai down Rs 25 to Rs 925, and better quoted at Rs 1000.
Juwar inferior down Rs 30 to Rs 900 and better shed same amount to Rs 910, rapeseed cakes inferior up Rs 10 to Rs 255 and better up same amount to Rs 260, and cotton cakes quoted higher at Rs 532 and better at Rs 535.
SATURDAY'S: juwar down Rs 10 to Rs 890, better down same amount to Rs 900, wheat up Rs 4 to Rs 1060, guwar all stations quoted at Rs 1315 and better down Rs 5 to Rs 1330, sugar inferior up Rs 10 to Rs 1770 and better up same amount to Rs 1800, broken rice white down Rs 10 to Rs 930 and better quoted at Rs 950, white pepper up Rs 400 to Rs 8200, mace up Rs 400 to Rs 16800, nutmeg up Rs 100 to Rs 8200, big cardamom down Rs 100 to Rs 9500, cloves up Rs 600 to Rs 8600, dry ginger from China up Rs 300 to Rs 6500, aniseed down Rs 100 to Rs 4600, chillies dandiwala up Rs 400 to Rs 2800, chillies dandicut up Rs 200 to Rs 2800, tamarind up Rs 40 to Rs 840.
