Low trading on cotton market

Trading in cotton was low on Tuesday as spinners waited for prices to recede further. Also, interest in trading was lost as operators were keenly watching 'Zohra' on the sun, relevant sources said.
The official spot rate of cotton was unchanged at Rs 3075 without ST and upcountry expenses.
Sources said that a few deals were reported but were not received till filing report to the newspaper. They hoped that either the deals would be received late in the night or on Wednesday.
