Productivity, performance and quality of work could be increased through proper and effective training, therefore development system must be adopted in all organisations and institutions.
Sardar Hassan Akhtar Moakal, Punjab Management and Professional Development Minister, said this while addressing the concluding ceremony of 'Human resource management' training course, organised by Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank Limited (PPCBL) here on Wednesday.
The minister further said that the world has shifted to a knowledge-based economy, thus, it was vital for Pakistan to focus on the aspect of practical training to develop an enlightened, competent, determined and motivated workforce to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
According to him, PPCBL has taken the right decision to develop its own training centre and conduct workshops on modern management subjects. This would lead to the growth of the bank and a reinitialised image among the masses in Punjab. The minister offered the services of Management and Professional Development Department for the employees of the bank to improve their professional capability and skill.
Raja Allah Bux, General Manager of PPCBL, and Syed Hasnain Haider, Management Consultant, also spoke on the occasion. Later, the minister distributed certificates among the participants of the course.
