Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on Wednesday that the government was making all out efforts for development of the social sector in the country.
He was talking to Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz and Advisor to PM on Women Development Nilofar Bakhtiar, who met him at the Prime Minister's Secretariat along with senior officials of the respective ministries.
He said that fruits of economic development must reach the common man for all-round progress of various segments of the society.
The finance minister and the advisor discussed with the Prime Minister the broad spectrum of social sector development in country with special reference to the welfare projects relating to "senior citizens" and children.
Matters relating to the Pakistan Baitul Mal also came under discussion. The meeting also reviewed the ongoing progress on budget and discussed various proposals to be included therein.
