The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has announced that the advertisement on cable TV network and closed circuit television would be liable to Central Excise Duty in VAT-mode.
The decision has been taken to widen the scope of services subjected to CED in VAT-mode.
The CBR has brought advertisement on cable TV network and closed circuit television and services rendered by shipping agents within the scope of CED in VAT-mode.
