The two-day sixth meeting of "Pak-UK Defence Co-operation Forum" concluded here on Friday under discussion on two memorandum of understanding (MoUs) of mutual co-operation which would be signed in the near future.
"Discussion on two the MoUs on mutual co-operation were also held," defence sources told newsmen after the conclusion of the meeting.
They said those MoUs, when inked, would provide further impetus to the level of on-going co-operation between the two countries.
During the meeting both countries reviewed the current co-operation between Pakistan and the UK, and noted that "a satisfactory level of co-operation has been achieved and many new areas of future co-operation were identified."
Pakistani side was led by Secretary Defence Lieutenant General (Retd) Hamid Nawaz Khan while Britain was headed by its Permanent Under Secretary Defence Sir Kevin Tabbit at the two-day wide-ranging talks between the two sides.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan defence delegation, on Thursday had called on British Secretary of Defence Geoff Hoon and British Chief of Defence Staff Sir Michael Walker.
