The Karachi Port handled 92,367 tonnes of cargo including 60,492 tonnes import and 31,875 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 17,847 tonnes dry and 74,520 tonnes liquid cargo.
Two ships namely Kota Teraju and Shamrock Moon sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Sibi, Angara and Stolt Orchid are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Orient Stride Stolt Orchid and Anjum expected to sail on Monday, while two vessels viz Maya and MT Swat are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Seven ships namely Chem Lily, MT Johar, Action Express, Sinar Bontang, Kota Wajar, Bunga Terasek and APL Portugal due to arrive on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 5,892 tonnes edible oil; 28,996 tonnes crude oil; 23,330 tonnes iron ore; 1,715 tonnes cement and 33,932 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel OOCL Harmonny sailed out to sea on Monday morning, while two more ships namely Marivia-V and Kisogawa are expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A container vessel Contship Indigo due to take berth on Monday.
MV Full Spring is due to arrive on Tuesday.
