The Karachi Port handled 44,448 tonnes of cargo including 40,511 tonnes import and 3,937 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 14,448 tonnes dry and 30,000 tonnes liquid cargo.
Two ships namely Ocean Genius and Corinthiakos sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Safinaz, Estella, Warbah and Victory Prima are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Estella, Lisa and Odigitria expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Warbah and APL Ivory are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Five ships namely APL Ivory, Eax Sanctity, Min He, Bunga Kinare and Kota Wijar due to arrive on Tuesday, while eleven vessels viz Yan Shui Hu, Tamyra, Shamrock Moon, Coromandel, Hyundai Highway, Oriental Stride, Kota Tegap, Tiger Ocean, Hyderabad, Partiakos-II and Kota Mesria are due to arrive on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 10,389 tonnes chemicals; 1,900 tonnes edible oil; 13,590 tonnes coal and 11,322 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely OOCL Ability, Lissa Topic and Nur Yanbu sailed out to sea during the report period, while another vessel Contship Tamarind is expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
A total of five vessels viz Hotaka Maru, Annoula, Kronos, Ginga Kite and Akademic Semenov are currently at the outer anchorage.
Container vessel Hotaka Maru due to take berth on Tuesday.
Container vessel Fabian Schulte is due to arrive on Wednesday.
