After receiving some surreptitious information, the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Wednesday cancelled the English paper of Bachelor of Arts.
According to a source in the AIOU, the administration had received some evidences that English paper, code no. 435, has been leaked out in Kohlo near Dera Ismail Khan.
After collecting evidences, the AIOU administration cancelled the paper at all its examination centers in the country.
Source further informed the Business Recorder that AIOU vice-chancellor Professor Syed Altaf Hussain would establish a special committee on Wednesday to probe the matter.
The committee will investigate whether the paper was leaked out from the bank or any AIOU staff member was involved in it, the source disclosed.
He said that now the paper would be held on July 9.
