The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has not accepted the resignation of Mian Naseer Hyatt Maggon, former KCCI President and member of the managing committee of the chamber.
A meeting of the KCCI Managing Committee was held on Wednesday evening to consider the resignation of Maggon.
Briefing newsmen, KCCI President Siraj Kassim Teli said the managing committee received Maggon's resignation on April 28. Maggon, however, said that he did not sign the resignation.
It is worth mentioning that Maggon in a letter advised the KCCI Secretary not to accept his resignation.
He said: " If I would ever like to resign, I would impose my thumb impression on the resignation letter."
