The Lahore High Court (LHC)'s office returned the petition praying to the court to allow bail to former chief minister, Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif.
The LHC's office raised objection that the petitioner has no locus standi in the matter, hence the petition is neither valid to be filed, nor maintainable.
The petitioner president People Lawyer's Forum (PLF) A.K.Dogar contended that Shahbaz Sharif is citizen of Pakistan, hence it is his legal right to come back to the country.
He said that the respondent government illegally and without lawful authority had sent him back to Saudi Arabia.
He prayed to the court to allow him to come back to his homeland.
NOTICE ISSUED TO ELECTION AUTHORITY: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to Election Authority in a petition filed by Mian Usman, Naib Nazim Data Ganj Baksh Town challenging no confidence move against him.
