The representatives of the lawyers' community have asked the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) leadership to play their due role for the establishment of true democracy in the country.
In a statement here on Thursday, member Pakistan Bar Council Kazim Khan, vice-president Supreme Court Bar Association Ali Ahmed Khurd, president Lahore Bar Association Mirza Hanif Baig and members Punjab Bar Council Shahid Mehmood Bhatti, Muhammad Ehsan Bhoon and others have said that MMA after accepting Legal Framework Order (LFO) has lost public confidence and their decision of not attending the meeting of National Security Council (NSC) would not make any difference.
