Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik has said that he will appraise Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar of the gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and about the aspirations of the Kashmiris.
Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported that the JKLF chief, addressing a public meeting at Baramulla, said: "I have been invited by the Pakistan Foreign Secretary to meet him at Delhi.
"I will apprise him of the aspirations of the people and the tyranny they are facing under the Indian occupation forces."
He further said that he had the endorsement of the people by virtue of the signatures he received from more than one million people.
Welcoming the acceptance of long-standing Kashmir issue as a dispute and advocacy of tripartite talks by the European Union delegation, Yasin Malik said the Kashmiris were the principal party to the dispute, and stressed upon their participation in the talks.
Malik said the Kashmiris had suffered enough in the name of "healing touch" and that the time was ripe for their participation in the ensuing talks between the two nations.
"It's Kashmiris who are being killed, harassed and humiliated, so let the world allow them to present their point of view and respect their aspirations," the JKLF Chairman said.
Lambasting the Indian occupation forces operating in Baramulla for letting loose a reign of terror by inflicting atrocities on the people, Malik said the district was a glaring example of the state-sponsored terrorism before the world.
Lashing out at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led coalition in the occupied state, Malik said the much-hyped healing touch had proved to be a mere hoax.
According to him, the gimmick was being used to hoodwink the international community.
"The PDP has failed to deliver and keep its promise. It should have advocated for the tripartite talks, but they are be-fooling the world that normalcy has been restored in Kashmir," the JKLF chairman said.
