Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Wednesday that the National Assembly resolution on enforcement of 7th Wage Board Award would be presented before the Federal Cabinet for implementation.
Addressing his first news conference after re-induction as Federal Information Minister, he said he stood by the commitment he had made to the media persons while he was in the Jamali government and would now work for it under the new administration.
The news conference was also attended by Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz, Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani, Chairman of the Central Board Revenue Abdullah Yousaf and several other government officials.
