The Pakistani prisoners in Indian jails who have long completed their sentence term are on hunger strike for last ten days and some of them have been admitted in the hospital in serious condition.
No matter whether he is Muhammad Babar of Pakistan or Muhammad Azeem, they are just reflection of prolonged bitterness between the two countries, BBC reported. The imprisonment period of these Pakistani detainees who have passed large part of their lives in Indian jails, has been completed long before, but their release is still far away.
On the appeal of these prisoners, the Supreme Court of India has already issued orders of their freedom. Due to the worsening conditions of the striking prisoners, they are admitted in the hospital.
One of them Muhammad Babar of Lahore says he does not know as to where his freedom is trapped.
Muhammad Azeem of Faisalabad who has passed 20 years behind the bars became emotional remembering their family members.
Azeem said, "I have already completed the punishment awarded by the court but the government of India is still not ready to free me."
