Libya's state grains agency has purchased 180,000 tonnes of soft wheat and 30,000 tonnes of feed barley in tenders for the same volume that closed last week, European traders said on Monday.
It was also believed to have purchased 180,000 tonnes of durum wheat but this was unclear, traders said.
The soft wheat was believed to have been purchased from a range of origins at the low price of about $155 a tonne c&f.
The barley was purchased at 101 euros a tonne c&f and was believed to be from the Black Sea region.
The grain is for shipment between August and October.
Origin in the original tender was at sellers' option.
