The Karachi Port handled 106,026 tonnes of cargo including 102,285 tonnes import and 3,741 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 42,788 tonnes dry and 63,238 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Hyderabad, Angara, Nur Yanbu and Artemis-II sailed out to sea during the report period.
Seven vessels viz Orient Stride, Tai He, Sea Conqueror, Kapitan Emirsoy, Warbah, Shamrock Moon and MMM Kingston are currently at the berths.
MV Tai He expected to sail on Tuesday, while four vessels viz Warbah, Shamrock Moon, MMM Kingston and Orient Stride are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Three ships namely APL Jakarta, Grand View and Prabo Emu due to arrive on Tuesday, while five vessels viz LMZ Valia, Sunniva, Kota Indah, Hyundaoi Future and Sinar Botang are due to arrive on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 1,994 tonnes chemicals; 41,597 tonnes furnace oil; 19,456 tonnes iron ore; 1,136 tonnes seeds and 32,147 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely CV MSC Sardina and Sun Great sailed out to sea during the report period, while two more vessels viz CV Marvia and MT Aldan are expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of three vessels viz Sunniva, Belsize Park and Iran Sadr are currently at the outer anchorage.
Chemical Carrier Sunniva due to take berth on Tuesday.
Two vessels viz CV P&O Nedlloyd Tiger and MT Bummi due to arrive on Tuesday.
