Pakistan was without any democratic government for about four days from Jamali's resignation till the installation of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Surprisingly there was no untoward incidence of any kind, no law and order problem, no car bombing, and no killing in the mosques etc throughout the length and breadth of Pakistan during this entire period.
Was it just a coincidence or what? One is tempted to suggest why not prolong such experimentation for a year or so, and if it proves successful adopt it permanently. It shall certainly be in the best interest of Pakistan.
