Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (Kati) Chairman Zahid Hussain has urged Karachi City Nazim Naimatullah Khan to hold the inaugural meeting of the Korangi Industrial Area Development Board at the earliest so that it could start its work.
Complimenting Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad and City Nazim Naimatullah for taking personal interest in constituting the Korangi Industrial Area Development Board comprising representatives of the City Government and Korangi Association.
He also thanked the Principal Secretary to Governor Brigadier Akhtar Zamin and DCO Karachi Hussain Ali without whose efforts and keen interest it would not have been possible to constitute the said board.
He has expressed the confidence that with the formation of KIAD Board, the infrastructure of the Area would improve and thereby help the export-oriented industries to meet the challenges of globalised economy.
