The line-up of vessels to load sugar in Brazil's ports increased to 49 from 43 last week, shipping agent Williams said on Thursday.
In a weekly report, Williams said 31 vessels were lined up in the southern port of Santos, the same as last week. At Paranagua there were four ships, also the same as last week, and in the northern port of Maceio there were six, up from four last week.
Santos accounted for 70 percent of sugar tonnage being loaded in Brazil's ports, with Maceio garnering 11 percent and Paranagua 9 percent.
