The computerised balloting to select employees of Sindh Employees' Social Security Institution (Sessi) under the Haj Scheme was held here on Monday.
The Sessi commissioner, Pir Bakhsh Jamali drew the balloting through computer and announced the name of six lucky employees, who will perform Haj this year on behalf of the institution.
Principal successful candidates are: Fayaz Ahmed (Assistant, K.V. Hospital), Hassan Ali Shah (Naib Qasid, Kotri Circle), Farhat Shaheen (Junior Clerk, Landhi Circle), Sher Muhammad (Kitchen Helper, S S Landhi Hospital), S.Anwar Ali (Dresser, Korangi Circle).
While the alternate candidates are: Mujtaba (Assistant, Sukkur Circle), Haji Abdul Karim (Assistant, West Wharf Directorate), Muhammad Ayaz (Naib Qasid, K.V. Hospital), Maryaz Kazi (lady Attendant, Hyderabad Circle), Khair Muhammad (cook, S S Landhi Hospital) and Muhammad Deen (Dispenser, Kotri Circle).
Speaking at the occasion, the Sessi commissioner mentioned that previously Sessi used to send its four employees annually to perform Haj, but this year two more additional employees of the institution are being sent according to new charter of demand of CBA, as approved by the provincial Minister Labour, Transport, Industries and Chairman Governing Body Sessi, Muhammad Adil Siddiqui.
While congratulating the successful candidates, he said that they should pray for the prosperity of the country, province and institution at the sacred land.
Pir Bakhsh Jamali advised all the employees to observe the basic principles of Islam in their daily life.
President of Sessi Staff Union (CBA), Ahmedullah also spoke on the occasion.
