Javedan Cement has announced increase in the cement prices, which would be applicable from 14th of this month. The decision was taken in a meeting held in Karachi.
In a statement issued by the Hassan Impex, the company's sole distributor, around Rs 11 has been raised per bag (Bori). The increase would amount to Rs 200 to 220 per ton.
Meanwhile, the experts on constructions industry have said that the increase would adversely affect the housing and construction sector for which the government is making full effort to revive.
