Equities witnessed broad-based erosion at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday where bears continued to stay in the driving seat amid decrease in index.
ISE network index showed a decrease of 116.67 points from 12,065.00 to 11,948.33 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 17,96,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 17,23,400 shares.
Total 112 active companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks, 85, closed in minus territory, 25 showed plus signs while 2 companies refused to observe change.
The volume of OGDC was 10,83,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 911,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertilizer was 160,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 215,500 shares.
