Addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony of Hiking & Mountaineering Club, Government College University (GCU) here on Saturday, the minister said "We have potential in the field of tourism, especially in adventure tourism and that is why the Punjab Chief Minister is attaching importance to its promotion."
He also appreciated the efforts of GCU Hiking Club towards promotion of mountaineering and said that such clubs should be set up at school levels, involving the community-based organisations. Private sector could play an important role in this direction, he added.
