imageKARACHI: Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who arrived here on Sunday called on Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan at the Governor House.

A statement from the Governor House said that the overall law and order situation in the province, the on-going operation in the metropolis and other matters came up for discussion during the meeting.

The Governor Sindh briefed the Minister regarding the operation against terrorists, target killers, kidnapping for ransom and extortion (Bhatta).

It was resolved that the operation would continue till the elimination of last terrorist and that it would be taken to the logical conclusion.

An improved law and order situation in Karachi, the economic hub of country was essential for the economic progress and prosperity of the country, it was further pointed out.
