A local manufacturer of Unani medicines Mian Abid Mahmood has approached the Lahore High Court against the proposed bill to be tabled in the National Assembly for restricting registration of non-allopathic medicines.
The petitioner contended that this bill is a conspiracy against the manufacturers of Unani and Homeopathic medicines' manufacturers, as it would make it difficult for them to continue their business.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to direct the respondent government not to table the proposed bill before the National Assembly.
