Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) will observe Kashmir's Accession to Pakistan Day on July 19. It will be observed to renew the pledge to continue struggle for the accession of whole Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan.
To mark the Day, rallies and processions will be taken out across occupied and Azad Jammu and Kashmir in support of Kashmir's Accession to Pakistan. Schools, colleges, government and private offices will remain closed on account of official holiday to mark the Day.
On the same day in 1947, Kashmiri leadership had unanimously adopted a resolution in a meeting held at the residence of AJK founder president Sardar Mohammad Ibrahim Khan for Kashmir's Accession to Pakistan.
To mark the day, a ceremony will be held in the premises of Ombudsman Secretariat under the aegis of the Kashmir Liberation Cell.
AJK Prime minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan and leaders of political and religious parties, representatives of refugees, and traders organisations will address the ceremony.
Kashmiris celebrate Accession Day on July 19 every year by holding rallies, procession and various other ceremonies to renew their resolve to offer every sacrifice for entire Jammu and Kashmir state's Accession to Pakistan.
