Bears returned on the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities suffered losses under the lead of heavyweights amid decrease in index.
The ISE network index showed a decrease of 18.83 points as the price-based indicator moved from 12,038.44 points to 12,019.61 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 2,579,500 shares as compared to the previous volume of 2,134,100 shares.
Total 122 active companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (88) closed in the negative territory, 32 landed in plus zone, while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 1,473,500 shares as compared to the previous turnover of 1,343,500 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 584,500 shares. The volume of Hub Power Company was 178,000 shares.
