The Second Excellence Award Ceremony of EOBI was held in a local hotel in which cash awards, shields and certificates were distributed among the officers and staff showing outstanding performance during the year 2003-04.
EOBI chairman Muhammad Shafi Malik, in his address, highlighted the steps taken by the institution to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.
He further said a recovery of Rs 903 million comprising cash, shares, two cards of KSE, urban and agricultural properties were recovered by the Grace of Almighty Allah and assistance of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Speaking as Chief Guest, Nazim F. Haji appreciated the performance of the Institution.
He acknowledge that collection of contribution had been enhanced by Rs 443 million from Rs 2235 to Rs 2678 million during fiscal year 2003-04 which is a great success.
Mrs Sadia Rashid, Chairperson Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan received a trophy of Best Compliant Employer of the country as a token of respect and recognition for the great social services performed by them.-PR
