The Council of International Bureau of Education, United Nations has awarded "Jan Amos Comenius Medal 20O4" to Professor Dr Munawar Mirza, Director, Institute of Education and Research, Punjab University for his outstanding achievements in educational research and innovation.
This Unesco education award is given every year to a distinguished scholar on the basis of research contributions. Dr Munawar has been invited to receive the medal at a ceremony to be held at the Geneva International Conference Centre in September 10 next.
