Recent research conducted at the University of Regensburg in Germany revealed that sharing of toothbrush is dangerous and can transmit hepatitis-C.
Head of the Dental Surgery Department Jinnah Hospital, Dr Khalid Mahmood Butt, said the newsmen here on Sunday that research findings at the foundation underlined the need for extra care in oral health research showed that hepatitis-C could be transmitted through toothbrushes.
He advised the people to avoid sharing of toothbrush even with their spouses and kids.
