Pakistan has been invited to the next "Texcare Asia - international trade fair" for modern textile care, which will be held from November 10 to 12, 2005 for the first time in China at the World Trade Centre in Beijing.
According to the organisers, Texcare Asia, which is the daughter event of the renowned Texcare in Frankfurt, has never before taken place in China, having been previously held in Singapore and Hong Kong.
"We made the decision to move the show further north due to strong demand by the industry in Europe and China," explains Trade Fairs for Messe Frankfurt in China Director Betty Heywood.
The number of commercial laundries and dry-cleaners, hotels and travel-related businesses is growing rapidly in China, and so is the demand for the quality equipment. Interest in the foreign-made machinery is also increasing.
Originally, the next show was scheduled for 2006, but the industry does not wait that long to meet again in Asia.
The last event, held in 2002 in Hong Kong, attracted over 2,500 trade buyers from 41 countries, with over half the buyers coming from overseas.
