Enrollment Committee of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) approved names of nine applicants for the enrolment as advocate for the Supreme Court of Pakistan after having their interviews and required formalities. All the applicants belong to various cities of the NWFP province.
According to PBC, a meeting of the Pakistan Bar Council was held in the chamber of the chairman of the committee, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the premises of the High Court Building, Peshawar and attended by other two members of the committee Hafiz Abdul Rehman Ansari and Rasheed A. Rizvi.
The committee after interview and having found nine applicants fit for enrolment, enrolled them as advocate of the Supreme Court.
Name of applicants who were found fit for enrolment as advocate of the Supreme Court are Subhanullah from Peshawar, Muhammad Shah Nawaz Khan from Bannu, Tahir Fraz Abbassi from Abbottabad, Yahya Khan Afridi from Peshawar, Shakeel Ahmed from Peshawar, Abdul Shakoor from Abbottabad, Waseem-ud-Din Khattak from Peshawar, Sabah-ud-Din Khattak from Peshawar, Sohail Akhtar from Peshawar.
