I would like to felicitate the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry for taking the courageous step of holding its first-ever provincial level business award ceremony in Peshawar.
The unique event would certainly lead to a healthy competition in the business community of this province, thus promoting industrial, trade and commerce activities for the overall economic benefits of the province and the country as a whole.
Similarly bringing out this special bulletin is also a praise-worthy step that will help introduce the entrepreneurs and business circles of this province and their enterprises to the outer quarters.
The initiative has been taken at the time when the Federal Government is committed to capture the target of one billion dollar exports to Afghanistan. Therefore encouragement of the trade and business community of the province will definitely give a new boost to the efforts already under way in this connection.
In fact in the wake of rapidly growing competition in the international trade, we are also confronted with numerous challenges quite similar to other developing nations.
