LHC allows bail to forex company director's wife

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday granted bail to Mehreen Haroon, wife of a director of a forex company, Rauf International involved in a financial scam.
The counsel of the applicant contended before the court that the applicant was not involved in the matter, as neither she was director of the company nor had any concern with the affairs of the Company. He contended that the applicant is mother of a suckling baby and visiting lecturer of National College of Arts.
He said that arrest of the applicant was illegal, unconstitutional and without lawful authority.
The court, after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length, allowed her bail.
