Immunisation is by TAB vaccine, which is in meagre supply in the district hospitals. WHO through its EPI pro-grammes can ensure its availability and administration to the masses along with seven other vaccines of EPI.
Government Public Health departments can take interest in the elimination this dangerous disease, which is the cause of loss of many lives and time that can be saved.
