Fresh buying spree in heavyweights moved the entire ready-board in upward direction on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls commanded the proceedings amid increase in index. The ISE network index showed an increase of 93.49 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,817.68 to 11,911.17 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,272,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 17,62,000 shares.
A total of 121 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (79) closed in positive territory, 39 landed in negative territory whereas 3 companies failed to observe net change.
The volume of OGDCL was 495,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 812,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 331,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 345,000 shares.
The volume of PSO was 218,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 254,700 shares.
