CDGK will establish Government Arts & Science College in North Nazimabad.
The city Nazim, Naimatullah approved the project on Friday and directed the concerned quarters to immediately start construction work on it. According to the details, the project is spread over an area of 7 acres, which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 46.817 million.
The proposed covered area of the building is 45568 sq.ft which will be a ground plus one building including class rooms, laboratories, canteen, staff rooms and a common room etc.
Besides this project, CDGK also plans to establish a government girls vocational school at plot no. ST-5 in block 'N', North Nazimabad.
The school impart training in the fields of handicrafts, computer etc.
The City Nazim also released instructions to the education department to undertake the project on priority basis and take necessary steps to raise the education standard in the government schools.
PICNICKERS CAUTIONED: According to Emergency Response Centre, Hawksbay, two people Abrar Ahmed chowhan (32) and Raheel Chowhan (6) were reported drown on Thursday. The dead body of the child had been recovered on Friday, while the other was still missing.
In view of the increasing drowning incidents and high tide season, CDGK has warned the picnickers to be cautious and avoid swimming in the sea, specially on Saturday and Sunday.
