At least three people were killed and 10 others injured when a van rammed into a roadside tree here on Sunday.
The cause of the accident is stated to be the driver's lack of rest who felt dizzy and rammed his van into a tree.
The passenger van (AJK-6321) was going from Lahore to Gujranwala and the accident happened at Sadhoki.
As a result, Rahat Ali resident of Gujranwala, Muhammad Amjad Chughtai of Lahore and a 30-year-old unidentified person were killed in the accident.
The injured included Muhammad Ishfaq, his mother Zakia Bibi, Muhammad Bashir, Sobay Khan, Basharat Umar, Shamim, Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Tayyab, Muhammad Mustaqeem, Rashid Waseem and Rana Shaukat. Motorway police and Saddar police took the victims to local hospital.
