The Executive Committee of the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has approved the schedule for annual election 2004-05 for eight seats.
According to a press release received here on Wednesday, as per schedule the voters list will be issued on August 11, 2004, while nomination papers will be filed on August 18, 2004, and polling will be held on September 14, 2004. The annual general meeting of the Chamber has been scheduled for September 30, 2004.
To conduct the elections, the EC has appointed a three-member scrutinising committee with Mian Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh as its convenor, Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf and Mian Iqbal Hassan will be the members of the committee, while Khurram Javed, deputy secretary will act as the election officer, the release concluded.
