State Life Insurance Corporation (Slic) intends to revive the National Accidental Death Benefit Scheme, which would provide financial protection to the people of the country.
This was stated by Slic Chairman Kamal Afsar on the occasion of cake cutting ceremony held here to celebrate State Life's landmark achievement of Rs 1.14 billion new business secured up to July 31, 2004. Kamal Afsar said that the National Accidental Death Benefit Scheme was launched during the 1980s.
State Life executive directors Muhammad Javed Khan, Zafar Mehmood, Zahid Murad and Rahat-ul-Ain and senior corporate and marketing executives were present on the occasion.
Kamal Afsar appreciated the tremendous performance of marketing force and employees of State Life.
He said that our marketing force has to work hard and put tireless efforts to spread the message of life insurance through State Life, while securing their business targets during the third and fourth quarters of 2004.
Zafar Mehmood, Executive Director (Marketing), in his address congratulated the marketing force, officers and staff of the State Life on achieving the historic new business of Rs 1.14 billion.
He hoped that the State Life would complete the business target of Rs 2.25 billion while securing the persistency ratio of more than 80 percent by the end of 2004, with 40 percent increase in the new business.
